Accessibility on Disability Next Steps
Many people who use this site live with a disability, and some are helping someone who does. We design and test the site against the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at the AA level. Aiming for a standard is not the same as meeting it on every page, so we treat reports of problems as work to do.
What the site does
- Large, high-contrast text, set in a typeface designed for low-vision readers
- Every page works by keyboard, with a visible focus outline
- Every page works without JavaScript, including the stage guides
- No timed elements, pop-ups, or automatic motion
- Worksheets that can be printed and filled in by hand
- Pages that resize and reflow when you zoom
